ELDER WISE SAYING

(1)     when you see lion laughing with a goat you have to be very careful - Beware of every of every circumstance
(2)     one must not be after the beauty of an iroko tree but how many God's that can carve out of it - Not all that glitters is gold but all gold glitters
(3)      He who tears the garment of honour wears the mask of disgrace - If you live without discipline you die without honour
(4)      If the vehicle cannot take more passenger it can at least take greeting to those at home - If you are self contended try to associate with others.
(5)       He who beats a drum for a mad mad to dance is not better than the mad man - Your association tells whom you are.
(6)      The eagle will never say all he sees when he looks the down the world from his high throne of glory - Don't say all that your eyes see.
(7)        No matter how high the flies, it can never touch the sky - Your limit remains the same.
(8)        That little child that is demanding for a hot yam on fire, if the yam is been given to him can he hold it on his Palm - Don't contend for what is greater than your capacity
(9)         Instead of a piece of yam to cause war between an ant and a land, let the ant carry it - Don't allow little thing to bring you problem
(10)       you cannot have pounded yam on earth and go to heaven for plate of soup - Where you work is where you will get reward
